Winemaker, Jeff, takes random grape samples from the vineyards, crushes them, and tests the sugars in the juice with a refractometer. The sugars, or Brix, is a determining factor in the decision to pick and Husch grapes are very close to being ready for harvest. As always we look forward to seeing what the 2014 harvest will bring!
