Pork Wonton Cups with Orange Hoisin Sauce
A perfect pairing for Gewurztraminer
wonton wrappers
olive oil for brushing
1lb ground pork
1 Tbl soy sauce
3 green onions, chopped
1 Tbl sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 1/2 tsp orange zest
2 Tbl hoisin sauce
1 tsp salt
1 Tbl fresh ginger, chopped
1 egg yolk
DRESSING
1/4 C hoisin sauce
1 1/2 Tbl frozen OJ concentrate
1/2 Tbl chili-garlic sauce
1 green onion, chopped
1 tsp orange zest
Preheat oven to 350° Brush wontons with olive oil then press into mini muffin pan. Bake for 7 minutes. Set aside to cool. In a saucepan, sauté pork then add rest of ingredients until cooked. Scoop into prepared wonton wrappers & drizzle dressing on top. Makes 50 cups.
